Sharing the Love: Meet Ashley Dawn of the Sparkle Entrepreneur Network
Ashley has a way of making a room full of strangers feel like dinner with friends, and that's a big part of why I started this series. Sharing the love is my way of celebrating the business owners I get to photograph, and Ashley is so deserving of the spotlight! Our session together we laughed, we twirled, we sparkled (since thats kinda her WHOLE thing)!
The Sparkle Entrepreneur Network
Ashley is the founder of the Sparkle Entrepreneur Network, a Calgary community for female entrepreneurs at every stage of business, from brand-new dreamers to women who have been building for years. Every event is designed to take out the parts of networking most people dread. There's no perfect elevator pitch to prepare, no pressure to hand out referrals, and no extra meetings to squeeze into an already full calendar. Ashley even handles the contact sharing, so everyone can relax and enjoy the conversation.
Why She Built It
After seven years in the mental health field, Ashley saw how tired women are of performing and proving themselves, even in spaces meant to support them. She created a community where women can drop the script, show up as themselves, and grow together without pressure or comparison.
In under a year, the network grew to more than 200 female entrepreneurs and hosted 15 events in 2025, all built around connection, safety, and real conversations. Her mission is to help 10,000 women reclaim their confidence and sparkle by being themselves.
The Sparkle Mastermind
Ashley is now hosting the Sparkle Mastermind, with monthly connection sessions and hot seat opportunities for women in their first one to five years of business. It's a space for women who are ready to dive deep into their business and get the support they need to reach their next level.
